Michael Mitchell is a passionate photographer,  with a keen eye for detail and a love of capturing the natural beauty of the world.

He has been honing his skills since the age of 9 or 10. Over the years, He has developed a unique style that combines technical precision with artistic vision, creating  visual narratives that transport viewers to the heart of the scenes they depict.

Retired after a 30-year career as a staff photographer for a large Midwestern retailer, Michael now dedicates his time to personal projects and sharing his expertise through teaching and presentations. His work primarily focuses on landscape, studio and stereo photography, where he continues to explore new techniques and push the boundaries of his craft.

His work has been featured in various exhibitions and publications, showcasing his ability to capture the essence of the natural world in a way that is both captivating and thought-provoking.
